In America, front doors open inward.

In Japan, however, doors open outward—as if to say, “Hurry up and leave,” or even, “Get out of here, and be quick about it.”
Which of these two countries truly possesses a spirit of hospitality? Those who genuinely possess such a spirit do not go around loudly proclaiming “hospitality, hospitality” at every turn.
Do not be deceived by mere lip service—by a hospitality that exists in name only.
